These terms have applied since September 22, 2026.

By using this site, you’re agreeing to what’s below. If any of it doesn’t sit right with you, the simplest thing is not to use the site.

A note on where things stand: Accerent is on its way to becoming a formally incorporated company, expected in 2027. Until then, this site is run by the founding team building it, and these terms apply to your use of the site regardless. We’ll update this page once incorporation is complete.

What this site actually is

This is where we explain CVH, the Construction Verification Hierarchy, and give you a way to get in touch. Nothing here is an offer to enter into a contract with us, and browsing the site doesn’t put you in a client relationship with us on its own. That happens separately, when we actually agree to work together.

Whose work this is

The writing, the design, the illustrations, and the Accerent name itself belong to the team behind Accerent. You’re welcome to look around, share a link, or reference something you found here. What you can’t do is copy it, rework it, or build something of your own from it without asking us first.

The illustrations on this site were made for Accerent. They were created with AI image generation, using tools like ChatGPT/DALL-E, Claude and similar, from Accerent’s own concepts and creative direction, and they’re Accerent’s own work, not stock or licensed imagery. The same rules apply to them as to everything else here.

A few parts of this site aren’t ours. The typefaces we use, EB Garamond, Cormorant Garamond and Inter, are open-source fonts released under the SIL Open Font License, and they stay under it. Nothing in these terms takes away any right that licence gives you. The details, including the full licence text, are on our Licences page.

The 3D building model, the trees, and the drone models featured in the 3D scene aren’t ours either. They’re sourced from third-party creators under CC BY licences, and each stays under its own licence. Nothing in these terms takes away any right those licences give you. Using the site fairly

We’d ask that you don’t use this site to do anything unlawful, get in the way of how it runs, or dig around in parts of it that clearly aren’t meant for visitors. And please don’t scrape it to train a model without checking with us.

When a link takes you elsewhere

Some links here lead off this site, to places we don’t run and can’t vouch for. If you follow one, their rules apply, not ours.

No promises about perfection

We keep this site running as carefully as we can, but we can’t promise it’ll always be up, always be error-free, or do exactly what you needed it to at exactly the moment you needed it.

Where responsibility ends

Within whatever limits the law allows, we aren’t on the hook for indirect or knock-on losses that come from using this site.

If these terms change

We’ll update the date at the top when they do. Using the site after that means you’ve accepted whatever changed.
